My passion for photography and the process of making silver gelatin prints led me to a curiosity about the almost instant creativity of a different way of seeing.

With this new color work, and all of my work, I am not always clear about my intention. I seem almost to be led to these images. Mystery, magic, spinning, falling, or maybe flying, this is my black and white world in haunting color. After printing these I realized that it isn’t about the process or the equipment you choose; it’s about that place you can take yourself to, that place that tells you a little bit more about yourself each time you go there.

If an image can move you, affect you, even disturb you, then it’s caused some aliveness, some shift in your cosmos, a stirring in your soul. I am forever seeking that elusive awakening.
